Cellist Tyler J. Borden and pianist Mari Kawamura will present a concert of works by American composer Morton Feldman, a major figure in 20th-century classical music. The program will start with a brief selection of Feldman’s early works, then culminate with his massive 80-minute “Patterns in a Chromatic Field” which is known for long durations and unpredictable repetition. The concert is free and open to the public.

Her music becomes a living line between her roots in American and Celtic traditions and the rich history and culture of her ancestors.
