Start your evening under Santa Barbara’s golden summer sky, wine glass in hand, before experiencing chamber music that unfolds like a perfectly framed scene. Our fellows share the musical director’s cut where every instrumental voice deserves its own spotlight—from Norman’s high-octane Gran Turismo to Tchaikovsky’s emotionally layered Piano Trio in A Minor.Like a private screening of an award-winning film, these performances bring you so close to the action you’ll catch every nuance.
The annual concert in Mission San Luis Obispo once again features an incredible quintet by Mozart, featuring two violas. The Festival Brass kick off the second half with sonorous pieces by Gabrieli, and living American composer John Adams' 1992 Chamber Symphony finishes the program, conducted by Scott Yoo.
