Central Coast Voices: Coronavirus outbreak 2020

As coronavirus cases in the world and the U.S continue to soar, we will talk with local experts about what you need to know to stop the spread, stay safe, get tested and how prepared we are to fight this outbreak, as well as what are the political implications of this pandemic for the U.S.

Join Kris Kington Barker as she hosts the program from home amid concerns about the spread of the coronavirus. She will be speak by phone with Ann McDowell, epidemiologist with the County of San Luis Obispo Public Health Department, providing the latest information on the coronavirus outbreak and answering your questions. Also by phone, Kris will speak with Michael Latner, Ph.D., Cal Poly professor of political science and Kendall Voting Rights Fellow at the Union of Concerned Scientists, who will discuss the consequences of the pandemic on the upcoming elections.
