Fifty years ago, in August of 1969, half a million young people gathered on a farm in New York for the Woodstock Music & Art Festival. To mark the anniversary, KCBX shares the stories of San Luis Obispo County residents who were there.
In this one-hour special, producer Carol Tangeman interviews Will Jones of San Luis Obispo, Peggy Atwill of Los Osos, Ken Lidoff of Los Osos, BJ Semmes of Atascadero, Bill Seavey of Cambria, Alice McNeely of San Luis Obispo, Bill Wiener of Arroyo Grande, and Gail Brooks of Los Osos. Tangeman also includes music and stage announcements from theCD "WOODSTOCK—40 YEARS ON: BACK TO YASGUR’S FARM."
