Chris has been a fan of KCBX for years. From listening to news and music to attending the Live Oak Music Festival with her family, KCBX has been a constant in her life, and she is thrilled to be part of such an important community resource. Much of Chris' career has been in development, communications and marketing. She held the role of director of annual giving at Cal Poly, and roles at the Foundation for the Performing Arts Center and Performing Arts Center, San Luis Obispo. She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly.

Rebecca Ramirez (she/her) is the founding producer of NPR's daily science podcast, Short Wave. It's a meditation in how to be a Swiss Army Knife, in that it involves a little of everything — background research, finding and booking sources, interviewing guests, writing, cutting the tape, editing, scoring ... you get the idea.

Jim Conroy hosts the weekly music show, Celtic Crossroads, every Saturday on KCBX from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

In her role, Katelyn oversees KCBX community events and activities and is the operations director for Live Oak Music Festival. She first got involved with Live Oak and KCBX when she volunteered to assist the concessions team with coordinating vendors for Live Oak. Katelyn moved to the Central Coast in 2018 and joined the Live Oak family as a way to get involved in the community and combine her passions for live music, event coordination, public radio, and journalism.

Dana Farrington is a digital editor coordinating online coverage on the Washington Desk — from daily stories to visual feature projects to the weekly newsletter. She has been with the NPR Politics team since President Trump's inauguration. Before that, she was among NPR's first engagement editors, managing the homepage for NPR.org and the main social accounts. Dana has also worked as a weekend web producer and editor, and has written on a wide range of topics for NPR, including tech and women's health.

Meghan Keane is the founder and managing producer for NPR's Life Kit, which brings listeners advice and actionable information about personal finances, health, parenting, relationships and more. She is responsible for the editorial vision of Life Kit, which aims to serve NPR's larger mission of public service.
