An estimated 5,000 people marched through Downtown San Luis Obispo Saturday, according to the SLO Police Department. joining some 2,000 “No Kings” protests in cities throughout the country. Organizers say the demonstrations are a response to what they call 'authoritarian' actions by President Donald Trump—including military deployments and sweeping immigration raids.
