Journeys of Discovery: Gerald Ford Presidential Library and Museum

Correspondent Tom Wilmer visits with Geir Gundersen, supervisory archivist at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Part of the same institution, the Ford Museum is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Gundersen shares anecdotes about President Ford’s career, and the extensive archival material available to historians, students and the public. He also talks about First Lady Betty Ford, who was a champion of the Equal Rights Amendment, equal pay and founded the Betty Ford Center for substance abuse and addiction.
