It’s time for our very own Comic-Con, the Annual Comix Fair! Meet comic book artists, enjoy a fun selfie booth, kids’ crafts and Magic the Gathering games. Costumes are encouraged—there will be both adult and kid costume contests.

You are invited to a very special Cat Adoption Day at Monarch Books!

Stop by on Saturday, October 11th, to meet some beautifully fluffy cats available for adoption through the Cal Poly Cat Program (CPCP). CPCP staff and volunteers will be here to answer all your questions, share information about their programs, and walk you through the adoption process. Come meet your next fur-ever friend.

Jordan Hockett is back with his pumpkin sculpting demos! Using a sculpting method, Jordan creates 3D masterpieces out of pumpkins. Join us between 12 and 5 pm to watch his intricate designs unfold.

Flip with flair with Parkour! Train safely for outdoor practice. We use gymnastics equipment and concepts to tone down the risk while learning Parkour. Our progressive teaching style will have you shouting "HARDCORE PARKOUR" in no time! All levels, Members & non-Members welcome.

Former Hollywood animator, Netflix director, and fine artist, Rich Wilkie, will be hosting a special experience at his private residence. This unique event offers a rare opportunity to delve into the artistic process and personal insights of a celebrated figure who will take you on a tour of his iconic works. He will provide a drawing lab using a live nude model with an emphasis on movement, emotion and mindset. There will be time for conversation and insights with snacks and wine and non alcoholic drinks provided.

This event is in Mission Canyon, Santa Barbara. The address will be provided to attendees.

A little magic can take you a long way. After James Henry Trotter's parents are tragically eaten by a rhinoceros, he goes to live with his two horrible aunts, Spiker and Sponge. Life there is no fun, until James accidentally drops some magic crystals by the old peach tree and strange things start to happen. The peach at the top of the tree begins to grow, and before long it's as big as a house. Inside, James meets a bunch of oversized friends- Miss Spider, Old-Green-Grasshopper, Centipede, Ladybug, and Earthworm. With a snip of the stem, the peach starts rolling away, and the great adventure begins!
