Hundreds of vendors fill the Sunset Drive-In every Sunday morning from 6 am to 3 pm for their weekly Swap Meet. There are food trucks and parking is free outside the gate. Admission is $1.00. Rain cancels.
Join the California Nature Art Museum for a free-admission, end-of-summer Family Day. The Arroyo Grande Summer Concert Series kicks off on July 4th with two concerts (11 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm) and then continues every Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the beautiful Bandstand in Heritage Square Park. Food, beer, and wine available. Family friendly, bring your lawn chairs.
Join the 35 voices of Resonance for "Magnificat", a sumptuous feast of a cappella choral repertoire celebrating Mary, mother of Christ, and a special set of music featuring women composers of the 20th and 21st centuries. With music by Praetorius, Josquin, Bach, Pärt, Biebl, Alice Parker, Phyllis Zimmerman, and Górecki, it is sure to be a gorgeous program of both choral chestnuts and lesser-known masterpieces.
Four Lanterns Winery host a Sunday Evening concert series every summer from Memorial Day to Labor Day, hosting a variety of community based bands and solo performers, along with a food truck each week. This is a great way for locals to end their weekends, and gather with friends. 10% of our concert proceeds go to select charities each year. This years charities recipients are ECHO Atascadero and Hope with I.A.N. Families are welcome along with well behaved pets.

In 1980 Jay Helgerson shocked the world, becoming the first person to run a marathon a week for a year—each race completed in under three hours. For the last ten years, his daughter, filmmaker Alexandra Helgerson, followed him with a camera in order to understand the eccentric man who raised her. What she gets are his projected anxieties, his struggles with physical age and emotional distress, all while he endlessly trains for the Boston Marathon. But as Jay trains, the film is nearly derailed by Alexandra’s encounter with a life threatening illness. Set in 1950’s New York, two musical gems are reimagined by director Kristine McIntyre. Ned Rorem’s Four Dialogues tracks a relationship in four vignettes from meeting to separation, while William Bolcom’s zarzuela-inspired Lucrezia is a comedic reflection of human nature.
