Immerse yourself in Beethoven’s revolutionary piano sonatas with celebrated pianist Jeremy Denk in three evenings of brilliant performance and insightful commentary.Each 75-minute lecture-recital highlights a masterwork (or two) — the stormy drama of Op. 31 “Tempest,” the transcendent beauty of Op. 110, and his final piano sonata Op. 111 — thoughtfully paired with complementary pieces that reveal new dimensions of Beethoven’s genius from Nina Simone to Ligeti and Wagner.

This small group gathering provides support for expectant and postpartum parents/caregivers in nurturing their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. We’ll create a safe space where attendees can connect, reflect, and grow through their shared and lived experience of pregnancy into parenthood.The group meets in the natural setting of the Children’s Garden at the SLO Botanical Garden. This event will offer guest speakers, guided journaling, peer support, and facilitated discussions, all rooted in evidence-based care and holistic wellness.
