This class will help you teach your board, staff, and volunteers the most effective ways to communicate your nonprofit's unique mission and purpose. Equipping the champions of your cause with effective messaging can maximize community impact for your organization. Key topics include:—Mission statement challenges and how to address them—Facilitating understanding among your board, staff, and volunteers on how to create meaningful clarity in communicating your organization's mission and purpose—Using "elevator talks" (a 30-second Who, What, Why) to help your organization's internal supporters effectively tell the story—Tapping into the unique WHY of your board members, staff, and volunteers to help build engagement and retentionThis class is designed for nonprofit boards and executive directors. *Please have a copy of your organization's mission statement on hand for the class.* This class is online; the link will be sent with registration acknowledgement. SLO Retired Active Men (SLO RAM) is a group of retirees that get together just for fun, fellowship, and to enjoy participation in our variety of weekly/monthly programs and activities. Luncheons ($31) are on the third Tuesday of every month at 11:00 am at the Madonna Inn. Embark on a journey where the worlds of poetry and visual arts intertwine at our latest exhibition, "Poetic Prints." In collaboration with the Central Coast Printmakers and local poets, this exhibition explores creativity across mediums. The exhibition can be seen on Sundays to Thursdays from 12 to 4 pm and Fridays to Saturdays from 12 to 9 pm.
This is a dance class that offers adults an invigorating and uplifting way to exercise by learning a variety of genres of artistic movement, including modern, jazz, Broadway, & ethnic.
