The Cambria Center for the Arts is pleased to announce its next studio exhibit, “What is Revealed: Paintings by Margaret Biggs.” Bigg's work consists of stylized realism that opens the mind to the imagination. Her imagery has been popular in the evidence-based Healing Arts Movement and can be found in medical facilities, hotels and businesses nationwide.
Exhibit: June 30 through August 30, Tuesdays to Sundays from noon to 4 pm.Artist Reception: Sunday, July 5th from 4:30 to 6 pm.

This evocative exhibit explores the beauty and power of darkness, where light reveals only part of the story and shadows spark the imagination. Through a variety of artistic styles and mediums, artists interpret the hidden, the overlooked, and the unexpected, inviting viewers to discover what emerges when we look beyond the obvious. Join us for this captivating exhibition and experience the drama, depth, and wonder found In the Shadows.

To honor the annual event, the Los Osos art venue features 3 exciting exhibits, on view from July 23 to September 6. —Elizabeth Chaney's "Legends" series includes bold portraits of musicians, celebrities and cultural icons in her distinctive style.—Keagen Mackey's ceramic collection "Body" features large classic pottery forms with modern imaginative elements. —Michael J Costa's latest photography showcase "Explosive" is the culmination of his 3-year quest to capture the volcano Kilauea erupting in HI.

The Historical Society will be celebrating its' 50th anniversary at Heritage Square Park in Arroyo Grande with food for purchase, the Historical Society's famous Hot Dogs, AG Rotary beer and wine, Hubbalicious ice cream, and Music by Crossroads.
The Schoolhouse and Barn museums will be open for tours. There will be displays of Arroyo Grande History, Fire and Police Departments, Antique Weapons and Badges, a farrier (blacksmith), and the Central Coast Quilters Guild. Presentations begin at 2 pm.
