Bob and Wendy’s music is a heartfelt blend of folk, Americana, and poetic storytelling—rooted deeply in the Central Coast scene you know so well. Their latest album Fault Line features evocative tracks like “Gentle Waves of Mexico,” “Hold On,” and “Pelicans Fly,” each layered with Wendy Liepman’s introspective lyrics and Bob Liepman’s expressive cello work. They’ve been active for decades, with earlier albums like Behind the Blue (2000), Little Light (2003), and Ghost of Guadalupe (2008) showcasing their evolution from intimate acoustic arrangements to more textured, studio-polished productions. Their songs often reflect themes of resilience, nature, and emotional depth—like “99,” a tender tribute to aging love, or “Let It Be, Let It In, Let It Go,” which captures the uncertainty of recent years.
Four Lanterns Winery host a Sunday Evening concert series every summer from Memorial Day to Labor Day, hosting a variety of community based bands and solo performers, along with a food truck each week. This is a great way for locals to end their weekends, and gather with friends. 10% of our concert proceeds go to select charities each year. This years charities recipients are ECHO Atascadero and Hope with I.A.N. Families are welcome along with well behaved pets.
