It’s the perfect summer script: sunset, wine, and musical storytelling.
Start your evening under Santa Barbara’s golden summer sky, wine glass in hand, before experiencing chamber music that unfolds like a perfectly framed scene. Our fellows share the musical director’s cut where every instrumental voice deserves its own spotlight—from Norman’s high-octane Gran Turismo to Tchaikovsky’s emotionally layered Piano Trio in A Minor.

This small group gathering provides support for expectant and postpartum parents/caregivers in nurturing their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. We’ll create a safe space where attendees can connect, reflect, and grow through their shared and lived experience of pregnancy into parenthood.
The group meets in the natural setting of the Children’s Garden at the SLO Botanical Garden. This event will offer guest speakers, guided journaling, peer support, and facilitated discussions, all rooted in evidence-based care and holistic wellness.

Where’s Waldo? In Arroyo Grande, of course! During July, Waldo will be hiding in over 20 local businesses in the AG Village. Pick up a “Find Waldo Local in Arroyo Grande!” stamp card at Monarch Books starting July 1st.
When you spy a Waldo in a local shop, get your card stamped by the participating shop. If you collect 10 stamps, you can return to Monarch Books for a Waldo sticker and a coupon (for the first 125 seekers only).
If you collect 20 or more stamps, you will have the opportunity to be entered into a grand-prize drawing for Waldo books and other prizes. Grand-prize drawing will be held on Friday, August 1st at 5 pm at Monarch Books.
The hunt lasts from July 1st through July 31st. Free and family-friendly!

Experience chamber music at its most revealing as renowned teaching artists share the spotlight with fellows in the ideal acoustic of Hahn Hall. Each intimate performance offers a unique perspective, whether celebrating women composers, exploring cultural heritage, or illuminating musical relationships across generations.

Kick-off your weekend with a fun evening at Claiborne & Churchill! Every Friday June through September enjoy live music by local artists, delicious food and great wine! Entrance is free, simply pay for what you consume.
Reservations are not required, but are highly recommended. We are only able to guarantee spots and food for guests that have made a reservation in advance.

Concerts in the Plaza takes place every Friday night through September 12 at Mission Plaza in Downtown San Luis Obispo, with free live music from 5 to 8 pm.

Arrive at 10 am for the best selection of adult fiction/nonfiction, children's books, jigsaw puzzles, and CDs/DVDs. FONL Members get tickets for 2 free books. Cash only event.
