The Paso Robles Main Street Association is celebrating the 20th Olive and Lavender Festival! Each year Olive and Lavender farmers and artisans showcase their handcrafted products such as olive oils, lavender, skincare products, culinary products and so much more—there is something for everyone. Join us as we invite you to savor extra virgin and flavored olive oils, culinary lavender and, it would not be a festival without olive oil ice cream.New this year, the Main Street Lounge! Located near the Gazebo, there will be sips available for purchase provided by the SLO County Distillery Trail and local beer and wine producers. In this area, you will also be invited to see a live demonstration of the lavender essential oil distillation process in a copper alembic still provided by the Hambly Lavender Farm with demonstrations throughout the day.

Embark on a journey where the worlds of poetry and visual arts intertwine at our latest exhibition, "Poetic Prints." In collaboration with the Central Coast Printmakers and local poets, this exhibition explores creativity across mediums. The exhibition can be seen on Sundays to Thursdays from 12 to 4 pm and Fridays to Saturdays from 12 to 9 pm.
On May 9-12, 2024, in the picturesque hamlet of Parkfield, CA, the Bluegrass Music Society of the Central Coast (BMSCC) proudly presents the 24th Annual Parkfield Bluegrass Festival. Parkfield, known as the "Earthquake Capital of the World,” springs to life every Mother’s Day Weekend with toe-tapping Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Traditional music. Bluegrass music fans take over this small country village once a year for four days of concerts, workshops, children’s activities, camping and around-the-clock music jams! Live bands play all day on a cozy stage and at night fans enjoy late night sets in the Parkfield Cafe. Attendees are welcome to come for the weekend with their RVs or tents. Single day admissions are also available and the Festival is a great day-trip outing from almost anywhere in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo or Monterey Counties.

In this play by Larissa Fasthorse, good intentions collide with absurd assumptions in this wickedly funny satire, as a troupe of well-meaning, but hilariously misguided teaching artists scramble to create a school pageant that can somehow celebrate both Turkey Day and Native American Heritage Month.
Are you overwhelmed and confused by the 411-page DEIR regarding the BESS proposed on the Embarcadero in Morro Bay? Where to start? Begin with our workshops: the public workshops will provide a short orientation, study materials, resources and helpful tips for making your letter effective. We are a group of concerned Morro Bay citizens who have formed a committee to aid their neighbors in writing comments to the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the BESS project.Anyone who wishes to preserve the safety, natural resources, economy and character of Morro Bay is welcome. It is not necessary to be a Morro Bay voter to comment on the DEIR.

Shakesperience is a series of multiple intimate and site-specific Shakespearean scenes, with interactions taking place in or around different vehicles. This interactive experience has pairs of audience members moving from location to location to experience the best of Shakespeare. Audience members will be ushered around the Cuesta College campus to experience a drama, thriller, farce, or comedy—performed inches away from their seats. The SLO County Jazz Federation presents the Sam Hirsh Quartet featuring Ralph Moore. Sam Hirsh has been a highly regarded pianist, composer and educator in L.A. for decades, playing with some of the biggest names in jazz. Ralph Moore is a legendary saxaphonist, playing with the bands of Horace Silver, Dizzy Gillespie, Cedar Walton and Freddy Hubbard among many others.
