Cal Fire SLO reports vegetation fire on Cuesta Grade

Cal Fire SLO is reporting a vegetation fire on the Cuesta Grade in San Luis Obispo County on Saturday, June 5.

In a tweet around 2p.m., Cal Fire SLO said the fire is holding at 20 acres and aircraft have put retardant around the fire.

No structures are threatened and the number three lane halfway up the Cuesta Grade will be closed for approximately six hours, according to the California Highway Patrol. 

The fire is 0% contained as of 2p.m. Saturday.
