The Healing Depression Support Group is a safe place to share with others the pain of depression. Group members are having depression or have overcome the affliction and can share their recovery experiences.
Award winning multi-instrumentalist Lily Henley blends American and Celtic folk traditions with ancient Sephardic ballads. Known for her expressive songwriting, gifted fiddling, and bell-like vocals, Lily Henley's music encompasses her Sephardic lineage and a broad expanse of influences from across the folk world. Her music becomes a living line between her roots in American and Celtic traditions and the rich history and culture of her ancestors.
Did you know illegal wildlife trade (IWT) is behind only arms, drugs and human trafficking globally? Did you know that, in the mid 1990s, a legislative study was conducted in California and, at that time, illegal wildlife trade in California was second only to the drug trade? IWT is one of the world’s largest criminal activities. Please join us as we meet and listen to three officers (both retired and current) that have spent years investigating illegal wildlife trade, both in California and abroad.

The Cambria Center for the Arts (CCA) is thrilled to announce this special exhibit, a unique art and literary event. The work of local visual artists will be displayed along with accompanying brief, written interpretations provided by a talented community of writers. Participants will include the Joslyn Center group, “Rough Writers,” as well as a variety of local poets, novelists, journalists, and high school students. Amateur and professional writers will partake in this event. ADUs or THOWs can be great solutions to add more affordable housing, generate equity, house family members, age in place and build wealth.

The Development Directors Roundtable is a collaboration between Spokes and the Association of Fundraising Professionals of San Luis Obispo County.Spokes roundtables are facilitated, peer networking and problem-solving opportunities held monthly. At the start of the roundtable, participants introduce themselves and share some good news or something that’s “keeping them up at night.” They may also offer a “spotlight topic” for consideration during the meeting.A hallmark of the roundtables is confidentiality.
