Come home to yourself in the heart of nature. In this morning of sacred slowing, we gather to sip, to listen, to breathe, and to remember the quiet wisdom within. Through tea, sound, and song, we will weave a tapestry of presence and connection—each thread a meditation, each breath a return—a journey of inner and outer harmony.
Please join us from 10 am to 2 pm for our almost monthly Family Free Day: The Secret Life of Plants. It’s sure to be an epic adventure through the Garden to find plant, trees, birds and more!
Tell your families, tell your friends' friends, garden admission is waived so pack a picnic and stay for the day! This is an all ages event. Dogs on leash are welcome.
There will be crafts and educational activities in our Children’s Garden. The retail nursery, home to our selection of self-propagated native plants well suited for the Central Coast’s Mediterranean climate, will be open for business. Stroll through our “Fire Safe” garden and hike the hill up to the “Human Sundial” or simply meander through our main “Display Garden.”
Breaking Cycles, Building Community: Vanessa Morrow’s Debut Exhibition is a powerful collection of bold paintings and poetry exploring liberation, self-discovery, and breaking generational cycles. Each piece is paired with an original poem in a hand-designed brochure, guiding viewers through Morrow’s deeply personal journey.
“Break the Cycle is about acknowledging what no longer serves us and choosing the lifelong work of healing,” said Morrow. “I want people to feel seen in that process, to know they are not alone.”
Break the Cycle is showing now at MYLR Gallery through September 30th. Original works and limited-edition merchandise are available.
Visit https://www.mylrgallery.com/ for store and gallery hours.
