Experience the Music Academy’s Summer Music Festival in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara as the world-renowned Takács Quartet—celebrating their 50th Anniversary—bring chamber music treasures to life. Join us for a one-day field trip to Santa Barbara to immerse in Japanese tea culture. Highlights include a traditional tea ceremony at the Botanical Garden, a nourishing Japanese lunch at Oku, and a tea & haiku workshop in Montecito. Transportation from SLO, snacks, and community connection included.

Join Morro Coast Audubon Society as we celebrate birds, youth education, and community conservation at a vibrant afternoon gathering. Enjoy light refreshments, a silent auction, and inspiring stories form students, educators, and partners working to shape a brighter future for California's Central Coast. Speakers include Andrea Jones, Executive Director of Audubon California, future teachers and students, and MCAS leadership.

Art Center Morro Bay proudly presents the MBAA Illuminations exhibit joined with the Central Coast Artists Collective of Photography and Fine Craft juried exhibit.
Illuminations: Reflections and Shadows: we see them in a mirror, a pond, or a puddle. It could be your face, the light from the sky, or the silhouette of a scene shining on a surface. Illuminations is an MBAA members-only exhibition which dives into the study of light and the ways it reveals, transforms and inspires.
CCAC Photographers & Craft makers: Central Coast Photographic Society and the Craft makers Coalition join forces for an exhibition in the Russell Gallery (upstairs), running concurrently with "Illuminations" downstairs. Member artists display recent works, highlighting variety in technique and subject matter.
Runs through June 23.

Please join Volumes of Pleasure staff in celebrating Pride Month by welcoming three accomplished authors who celebrate queer women in fiction.
Alicia Gael, Jen Lyon, and Laina Villeneuve are all California authors — with Alicia being a SLO County resident. All will be at Volumes of Pleasure Saturday, June 21 from 1 to 3 pm to do signings and read from their books.

Strange clues have been discovered in the dunes, and we need your help to solve the mystery: who (or what) has been out in our Dunes?? Join Interpreter Sarah and become a Dune Detective and investigate animal tracks, hidden treasures, and other puzzling evidence left behind by nature!
We’ll kick off our investigation with a 30-minute walk along a nearby dune trail to search for clues. When we return, dune detectives will dive into hands-on activity stations to examine the evidence and crack the case!

The program is intended for ages 3 to 6.

The legend of Robin Hood is brought to life on stage through a vibrant three-act ballet replete with adventure, romance, merriment, and honor. The production features swordplay and quarterstaff duels, archery, and dynamic dancing. It is complemented by full-scale sets and rich period costumes. This ballet promises an unforgettable experience for the entire family.
