The San Francisco Stand-Up Comedy Competition brings together the finest comedic talent from across the country. Spanning several weeks, the competition consists of multiple rounds, during which participants perform their funniest material in front of live audiences and a panel of judges.
Five finalists, having risen to the top of this year's field during four weeks of elimination shows throughout Northern California, will each perform at the Clark Center for 15 minutes, hoping to hear their name announced the next night as the winner of the lion's share of over $20,000 in prize money.
The competition, one of the most prestigious comedy events in North America, has launched the careers of people like Patton Oswalt, Dana Carvey, Louis C.K., Robin Williams and Ellen DeGeneres.
