The popular Central Coast Bioneers Conference, a Bioneers Pollinator event hosted by Ecologistics, Inc., is returning to San Luis Obispo on Friday, October 3rd (9 am to 6:30 pm) and Saturday, October 4th (9 am to 4:30 pm).

The two-day event, the conference will focus on inspiring environmental and climate-related topics on Friday and on social justice topics on Saturday. “There is so much negative news in the media about the environment,” said conference organizer and Ecologistics CEO Stacey Hunt. “If you are ready for some exciting and upbeat stories, come check us out.”

Friends of the Paso Robles Library presents the semi-annual sale of gently used books, DVDs and new/used magazines. Cookbooks, children's books, hard cover fiction and non-fiction, crafts, gardening and much more. Everything is sold for $1.50 per inch (measured by the stack). All proceeds go to support the library.

Santa Cruz-based jam band returns to SLO County for two shows. Mixing in original music with uncommon covers from the Dead, Dylan, Little Feat, Beatles, bluegrass, blues and beyond, Rosebud differs from most jam bands by their lush vocal harmonies.

Noche Flamenca’s latest creation is an evocative flamenco performance inspired by the powerful imagery of Francisco de Goya. Artistic director Martin Santangelo reimagines the artist’s work through riveting choreography, original music, and expressive storytelling. With vibrant costumes, lighting, and masks designed by Mary Frank, each scene delivers a visceral journey through Goya’s vision.

With guidance from Goya expert Mark MacDonald of The Met, the piece offers fresh interpretations of works like El Quitasol, Perro Semihundido, and Duelo a Garrotazos. Through flamenco’s emotional depth and raw energy, this performance captures the enduring power of Goya’s art and the universal truths it still reveals.

Join Morro Bay based crooner, Jody Mulgrew and local Americana journeymen Longstraw for a celebration of the music, wisdom and humor of the late great John Prine.

Jody and Longstraw are teaming up to present Illegal Smile, the Central Coast’s newest and only John Prine tribute act.

Join us Saturday, October 4th, for a fun new type of book club! Starting at 8:00am we will meet up at Monarch Books, and with our our audiobooks cued up, we will start on a leisurely stroll through the village for the next hour. We will stop and take breaks periodically.

Adventist Health has teamed up with the Transitions Mental Health, SLO Food Bank and and Tolosa Children's Dental Center to bring our community a free wellness clinic this fall.

This free clinic will be for all ages and includes:

• Dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions
• Pediatric dentistry
• Haircuts
• Mental health resources
• Fresh produce and food boxes
• Other free services
