The event features a reception followed by a moderated conversation between Elizabeth Robinson, Charlie Hale, SAGE Sara Miller McCune Dean of Social Sciences, and Lidia Uziel, Associate University Librarian for Research Resources and Scholarly Communication, engaging the exhibition’s central themes—universities as sites not only for preserving freedom of expression but also for promoting social justice and the betterment of societies.

A little magic can take you a long way. After James Henry Trotter's parents are tragically eaten by a rhinoceros, he goes to live with his two horrible aunts, Spiker and Sponge. Life there is no fun, until James accidentally drops some magic crystals by the old peach tree and strange things start to happen. The peach at the top of the tree begins to grow, and before long it's as big as a house. Inside, James meets a bunch of oversized friends- Miss Spider, Old-Green-Grasshopper, Centipede, Ladybug, and Earthworm. With a snip of the stem, the peach starts rolling away, and the great adventure begins!

Meet the Prometheus Quartet — an ensemble of exceptional young Music Academy alums selected through a national search as the Academy’s inaugural Emerging Artists String Quartet. United in the fall of 2023 at The Juilliard School, the Prometheus Quartet is inspired by the myth of Prometheus, striving to bring the gift of music to others. Beethoven’s String Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 18, No. 6, provides a foundation which inspired Caroline Shaw’s Blueprint, a contemporary piece connecting past and present.
