The Cambria Center for the Arts (CCA) proudly presents “Outside the Box” and “Small Gems” exhibits. Outside the box is in the main gallery with the re-occurring seasonal favorite, “Small Gems” in the adjoining studio. Both exhibits are scheduled to open on November 1. "Small Gems" will close December 29. "Outside the Box" will run through January 5, 2025.The gallery is now open from noon to 4:00, Tuesday through Sunday.Artist’s reception on Saturday, November 2 from 4:30 to 6 pm.
The regular SARC Board of Directors Meetings and Club Meetings are open to the public, held the first Saturday of each month unless there is a conflict with a Holiday where the Meetings are held the following Saturday. Our Board Meetings are held 8:30 AM, Lompoc Restaurant, 925 N H St, Lompoc, CA 93436. Appropriate safety and masking rules will apply.
The SLO Coast Wine Collective invites you to attend the 2024 SLO Coast Wine Harvest On the Coast celebration. The focus of this year’s Harvest on the Coast is the Grand Tasting from 2 to 5 pm. You’ll taste some amazing wines, all grown here in the cool SLO Coast AVA. There will be plenty of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, of course, but you’ll also experience word-class Albariño, Grenache, Syrah, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and more (even Grüner Veltliner!)! The admission price includes delicious Santa Maria-style BBQ food pairings by SLO’s Gold Land BBQ, featuring only the best local ingredients, plus you’ll dance to live music by local favorites Carbon City Lights. General Admission Grand Tasting tickets are $125. Come early and experience our Sparkling Wine Lounge featuring a variety of sparkling wines made by SLO Coast Vintners featuring Stepladder Creamery cheese pairings! This is a $40 add-on experience and can only be purchased in combination with the Grand Tasting.Throughout the afternoon, local authors Kirk Honeycutt and Mira Advani Honeycutt will debut “Sideways Uncorked,” a new book offering an insider’s look at the backstory of Alexander Payne’s “Sideways.”
The California Nature Art Museum’s annual silent auction returns this fall, but this year, we are delighted to also be hosting an in-person event that will really put the "fun" into fundraising! Along with a chance to bid on several impressive artworks, this new event will include a short artists’ gallery talk by David Gallup & Nansi Bielanski Gallup, artist demonstration by Kevin Gleason, live music by Elias y Madeline, decadent wines from Cordon Winery, delicious bites, delectable desserts, and more! It's the perfect way to have some fall fun, enjoy thoughtfully curated art, and support our mission to inspire stewardship of nature through art and education. The final few hours of the silent auction will close the event with many different ways to bid onsite, as well as provide opportunities to bid on exclusive and delicious dessert items, not previously offered online leading up to the final moments. The evening will end with a celebratory toast to your support of the Museum, plus you can take home your items that night.This fundraiser and auction is our kick-off to the year-end Annual Fund appeal that supports our ability to provide quality exhibitions and programs. Tickets are just $50 per person, include entry into a drawing for a free iPad.
