Illuminate's annual Industry Hive is the world's only film industry event dedicated to evolving the conscious film movement into a global phenomenon. Writers, directors, producers, creators, as well as investors and philanthropists, will join together to educate and uplift each other for the greater goal of expanding humanity's compassion and awareness through filmmaking.
The Office of Collecting and Design, an interactive museum of “lost” and “forgotten” objects, is taking its beloved collection on the road! The museum is often described as a “nostalgia machine,” transporting visitors into a world of delight, curiosity, and half-buried memories. The previous brick and mortar space has been transformed into a 42’ traveling museum, where visitors can open every drawer, explore every box, and engage in hands-on experiences like the Flatlay Session or Scavenger Hunt.
This San Luis Obispo journey kicks off at The Bunker on Tuesday April 29th and closes on May 3rd. Along the way, the museum will be collaborating with incredible local businesses and creative spaces to offer a truly one-of-a-kind experience at every destination.

The Cambria Center for the Arts (CCA) is thrilled to announce this special exhibit, a unique art and literary event. The work of local visual artists will be displayed along with accompanying brief, written interpretations provided by a talented community of writers. Participants will include the Joslyn Center group, “Rough Writers,” as well as a variety of local poets, novelists, journalists, and high school students. Amateur and professional writers will partake in this event. Bang the Drum has been a great location for Central Coast Comedy Theater shows, and as they are losing this location, we are planning a blow-out good time at our last show there.
