The Cambria Center for the Arts (CCA) presents "Mix it Up!", a vibrant mixed media exhibition. This showcase celebrates creativity without boundaries, featuring the innovative work of featured artist Carolyn Chambers. Additionally, works by our local artists exploring diverse materials and techniques and combining media in unexpected ways will be on display.

Exhibit runs: September 1 to November 1.
Artist’s Reception: September 5, 4:30 to 6 pm.
Hours: 12 to 4 pm, Tuesday to Sunday.

Discover how artificial intelligence is reshaping both modern computing and human cognition in the fourth installment of UCSB Library’s new speaker series, AI in Action: Conversations with UCSB Researchers. This event features short presentations by Miguel Eckstein (Psychological & Brain Sciences) and Arpit Gupta (Computer Science) on innovative applications of AI in their research, followed by a 30-minute moderated discussion on broader trends, challenges, and ethical considerations.

Our nonprofits provide invaluable services to our community, but today they are under unusual stress. Funding uncertainties, new requirements, prohibitions, and other factors present new hurdles in providing much needed services to our community. This meeting is part of an ongoing effort to collaborate, share information and provide mutual support.

Full-time, paid CEOs and Executive Directors of San Luis Obispo County nonprofits are welcome.

Discover your inner film critic by casting your vote for Best Film and Best Actor in the 29th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival. You'll join over 100,000 film lovers in over 500 venues across the globe gathering to see the Ten Finalists in this year's event.

The final selections screen simultaneously across the world during a one-week period, attendees can view all 10 short films and vote for Best Film and Best Actor awards at the Morro Bay Library in the Community Room.
