This magical Family Free Day is for faeries of all ages! There will be crafts and activities: Make a one-of-a-kind wand, plant some seeds in the Children’s Garden, help create a beautiful faerie mural, and make and take home a mini faerie garden.The enchanting garden will be filled with music, facepainting, and storytelling and there will be gifts from local artists to purchase for your favorite faerie or the Mom in your life for Mother’s Day.Faerie attire is welcomed and encouraged. We will have wings, ribbon wands, and other items that we’ll gratefully exchange for a donation. While entry and activities are free for all, your donations help our children’s programs grow and our garden thrive.
The City of Pismo Beach Recreation Division proudly presents the Pacific Breeze Concerts at Pismo Beach Rotary Amphitheater at Dinosaur Caves Park. This three show summer series will feature exceptional regional musical groups as well as special family activities. Food available for purchase. The intention of this small group gathering is to provide support for expectant and postpartum parents/caregivers in nurturing their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. We’ll create a safe and supportive space where attendees can connect, reflect, and grow through their shared and lived experience of pregnancy into parenthood.Our intended audience includes pregnant individuals, new parents/caregivers, and those navigating the transition into parenthood up to one year, with a focus on accessible, inclusive, and facilitated peer support. Refreshments & light snacks will be provided. Older children up to about age three are welcome and care will be provided in the Children’s Garden.Held in the natural setting of the Children’s Garden at the SLO Botanical Garden, this event will offer guest speakers, guided journaling, peer support, and facilitated discussions, all rooted in evidence-based care and holistic wellness.
This group will meet once per week on Thursdays, from 10 until 11:30 am – from April 10 until May 15, for a six-week session.
Since reopening in 2008, the San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum has offered free hours, or Moonlight Hours, the third Thursday of each month from 5 to 7 pm.

We repair bikes, clothing, outdoor gear and apparel, jewelry, small appliances, furniture, laptops, tablets, and phones. If you know what's needed, bring the replacement part (i.e. zipper, lamp cord) to speed things up. Don't toss that broken item! Repair it! Gardening advice provided as well as lithium battery recycling. You're also invited to bring your garden abundance to share with your neighbors.
