"How do we keep the music playing in these turbulent times? How do we bring together our audience, with its incredible diversity of thought and experience? The Cuesta Chamber Singers and Voce will attempt this important task through our love and hard work, using the tools given to us in this gorgeous and inspiring set of music.
Pianist and music Professor Emeritus W. Terrence Spiller will give his final Beethoven sonata cycle recital in the Pavilion of the Performing Arts Center. The program will be bookended by two large sonatas: the massive Sonata No. 4 in E-flat Major, Op. 7, and the joyously majestic “Waldstein” sonata, No. 21 in C Major, Op. 53. Music Director Mark Kovacs and Associate Conductor Nicholas Waldron will lead the orchestra performing pieces by John Williams, George Gershwin, Elmer Bernstein, Ferde Grofe and Jay Unger. The Wishing Well Waldorf School orchestra will also perform under the direction of Music Director and Conductor Lynne Oliverius.
