The Cambria Center for the Arts (CCA) Gallery proudly presents an exciting new exhibit, Getting High on Nature on display from September 6 through October 27. The gallery committee is delighted to showcase Karl Dempwolf’s work and invites local artists to submit their own pieces for this exhibit. Karl will present a lecture and personal exploration of his art from 3:00-4:30 on Saturday, September 7; reservations for this event are required. Artists and art enthusiasts alike are welcome to attend the Artist Reception immediately following, from 4:30 to 6:00 pm that same day. In addition, Karl will offer a plein air painting workshop to interested painters from September 20 to September 22; registration required. After selling out his last show here in 2022, guitarist Laurence Juber returns to the CPAC on for the annual Cuesta College Acoustic Guitar Concert. Juber is one of the premiere guitarists in the world, multi-award winner, two-time Grammy recipient, and was the lead guitarist for Paul McCartney's band Wings. Juber will share the concert with local favorites Dorian Michael, multi-instrumentalist Kenny Blackwell, and Jennifer Martin for an evening of solo works and interesting collaborations. You'll hear folk, pop, blues, jazz, and more!
