Dementia Caregiver Support Groups provide a safe space for people caring for those with dementia the opportunity to exchange information, build a support system with people who understand and develop methods and skills to solve problems.
In this session, the founders of GiveLink will demonstrate how nonprofits can create simple, transparent in-kind giving experiences that allow supporters to donate specific needed items directly to an organization. Participants will learn how GiveLink enables nonprofits to build customized online wish lists of essential goods — such as food, hygiene items, baby supplies, art materials, pet products, and more — embed them directly onto their website, receive and track donated items, and automatically send donors updates, photos, receipts, and thank-you messages.

The Cambria Center for the Arts is pleased to announce its next studio exhibit, “What is Revealed: Paintings by Margaret Biggs.” Bigg's work consists of stylized realism that opens the mind to the imagination. Her imagery has been popular in the evidence-based Healing Arts Movement and can be found in medical facilities, hotels and businesses nationwide.

The City is developing a comprehensive Vegetation Management Plan designed to help reduce the risk of wildfire in San Luis Obispo. During this community presentation, experts will share updates on this in progress effort, highlight priority focus areas, and outline initial wildfire prevention projects planned for the near future. Community members who live near undeveloped wildland areas are especially encouraged to attend.
The Atascadero Community Band, an all-age, all-volunteer nonprofit concert band, performs a one-hour concert every Tuesday evening all summer, starting Tuesday, June 9 and ending Tuesday, August 18.
Each week a different guest conductor from the Central Coast leads the band through all genres of musi: jazz, big band, funk, pop, classical, marches, you name it!
Bring your lawn chair and snacks and join the Central Coast community, supporting local musicians and community music.
The Kiwanis will be providing a BBQ before the concert, starting at 5:00 p.m. on June 9 and 23, for $25.
Opera scenes are reimagined by director Paul Curran in a program that cuts to the heart of some of opera’s most beloved repertoire.

Join the Estuary Program and Friends of the El Moro Elfin Forest for a family-friendly nature walk. Staff and volunteers will guide participants on an easy stroll along the boardwalk through this beautiful nature preserve. Highlights include "elfin" oak trees, wood rat nests, shell middens, and more!
All ages are welcome, and minors must be supervised by their adult at all times—no drop offs, please!
