HOPE With IAN will hold its Second Annual Moonlight Sonata: An Evening of Music, Light & Hope hosted by Four Lanterns Winery in Paso Robles. The elegant vineyard evening will bring together community members, supporters, sponsors, and local partners for an event benefiting HOPE With IAN, a charitable and educational nonprofit organization dedicated to mental health awareness, education, and support.
Moonlight Sonata will feature music, dinner, wine, a silent auction, and lantern-themed opportunities to honor, remember, and support those affected by mental health challenges. The event is designed to create a meaningful evening of connection while raising funds for HOPE With IAN’s prevention-focused mental health education, outreach, resource connection, and community support efforts.

Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo County (Habitat SLO) invites local builders, contractors, architects, engineers, developers, and community members to a new summer event series, “Builder’s Brew”—a casual, purpose-driven gathering designed to connect the building and design community with Habitat’s mission. Events take place on June 22, 23, 29 and 30 and are open to everyone. The events are free and registration is encouraged at www.habitatslo.org.

The 805 Rapid Response Network organized by 805 UndocuFund operates in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. A rapid response network for immigration is a community-led, 24-hour hotline and, in some cases, a field team, designed to monitor, verify, and document ICE immigration enforcement activities. These networks connect individuals affected by raids, checkpoints, or arrests to legal defense, provide on-the-ground support, and share real-time alerts to protect immigrant communities.

The Atascadero Community Band, an all-age, all-volunteer nonprofit concert band, performs a one-hour concert every Tuesday evening all summer, starting Tuesday, June 9 and ending Tuesday, August 18.
Each week a different guest conductor from the Central Coast leads the band through all genres of musi: jazz, big band, funk, pop, classical, marches, you name it!
Bring your lawn chair and snacks and join the Central Coast community, supporting local musicians and community music.
The Kiwanis will be providing a BBQ before the concert, starting at 5:00 p.m. on June 9 and 23, for $25.

UC Master Gardener Program of San Luis Obispo County extends an invitation to the public to visit our SLO demonstration garden. Bring your lunch, tour the garden, ask questions, or just sit and enjoy the sights & sounds of the Garden of the Seven Sisters.
Held the first Wednesday of each month from April through September, this informal drop-in event is an opportunity to ask the Master Gardeners questions.
