The Cambria Center for the Arts is pleased to announce its next studio exhibit, “What is Revealed: Paintings by Margaret Biggs.” Bigg's work consists of stylized realism that opens the mind to the imagination. Her imagery has been popular in the evidence-based Healing Arts Movement and can be found in medical facilities, hotels and businesses nationwide.

Exhibit: June 30 through August 30, Tuesdays to Sundays from noon to 4 pm.
Artist Reception: Sunday, July 5th from 4:30 to 6 pm.

“As a visual artist I seek to connect our everyday reality with the ethereal and ineffable mysteries of life—be they psychological, emotional, philosophical or spiritual—thus building a bridge between the seen and the unseen.” -Max Gleason

Similarly, the local non-profit Artist Advocacy Foundation builds a bridge—one between artist and patron—allowing artists to flourish and contribute to the vitality of their communities.

“Bridging Worlds” is a collection of works that support this idea. 50% of proceeds from artworks sold will be donated to Artist Advocacy Foundation. Creative expression is essential to our humanity and artists of all walks of life need support.

Indah Gallery is open Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from 12 to 5 pm. Exhibit runs July 17 to August 9.

Gather your friends and head over to Hubba Wines in Tin City for live music every Friday evening from May 1 to August 28th. Raise a glass to the setting sun while swaying to the tunes of talented local bands. We’ll have wine and food available for purchase.

Doors open at 5:00 pm. Music starts at 6:00 pm. All ages welcome. $5.00 donation per person at the door.

The 2026 Chamber Music Series wraps up with an exciting and diverse program of music. Before he became a Hollywood film score composer, Korngold received incredible praise for his sextet, with critics calling it the finest such work since Brahms. Steve Reich’s Double Sextet is up next, which combines two identical sextets of flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano and vibraphone for a very unique sonic experience. Dvořák’s third string quintet closes the program, nicknamed “American” as he composed it while living in Spillvile, Iowa.

Wine Country Theatre presents "Matilda the Musical." Packed with humor, heart, and unforgettable music, this award-winning musical promises an inspiring theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.

Featuring a cast of more than thirty local actors, Matilda showcases community theatre's greatest strengths: bringing together performers of all ages and experience levels to create live theatre that everyone can enjoy.

Show runs July 31 to August 9. Friday evenings, with matinees on Saturday and Sunday.

Step into lavender season with a relaxed, one-hour walk through the fields, led by farmer Milton Hambly. Learn how lavender is grown, harvested, and distilled, meet the animals, and harvest your own bouquet along the way.

Spend your Saturday morning at Music at the Rock with the Morro Bay White Caps Community Band!
Conductor Brenda Hascall will lead a lively waterfront concert filled with jazz, popular hits, and fun family favorites. Bring your dance partner as Mitch Latting serenades you with songs like Fly Me to the Moon, More, Mack the Knife, and Brenda Hascall's own composition, Moonlight in Morro Bay.
Come enjoy great music, ocean air, and a fun community performance at the South T‑Pier in Morro Bay.

Japanese cultural event. There will be a hula and taiko drumming presentation, food and soft drinks for purchase, Asian marketplace, silent auction and traditional Japanese folk dancing.
