Cannon's Well Worth It campaign was established in 2010, on a mission to support clean water projects around the world to communities who need it most. The SLO Grange Hall is graciously supporting our charity, by hosting a pancake breakfast. Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, bacon, juice, and coffee.

The Rotary Club of Los Osos presents its annual Family Fun Fair in honor of Grandparents Day. Admission is free for this celebration of the generations with activities and entertainment for all ages including:
—games for kids to win tickets they can exchange for face painting, prizes or even a hot dog meal
—Monster Petting Zoo, Symphony Petting Zoo, Insect Petting Zoo, Central Coast Aquarium Petting Zoo, Reptile Petting Zoo
—Youth Soccer Shoot Out and much more.
Rock-n-Roll by Groove Street for all to enjoy from 2 to 4 pm.

Featuring a musical performance, song and dance, as well as inspiring lecture material Jeannette Potts has shared with audiences as an international lecturer. Learn a bit about history and musicology, while exploring your own modes of communication.

The Cayucos community is coming together September 17th to the 19th for the Endless Summer Festival, a three-day celebration featuring local history, family activities, live music, food, shopping, and some of the organizations that make Cayucos such a special place.

Lace up your running shoes and join the Goleta Education Foundation (GEF) for a very special 11th Annual Lemon Run. This beloved community event is back, bigger and better than ever, to celebrate eleven years of running to advance elementary education in the Goodland.

This year’s race kicks off at 8:00 am with the 10K Grand Prix, followed by the 5K Jr. Grand Prix at 9:30 am, and wraps up with the 1K Fun Run at 10:30 am.

Runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to enjoy the scenic trails along Obern Trail and Goleta Beach.

Allan Hancock College invites the community to a free library-themed live-action wrestling event on campus. Lucha Libros will be bringing the ring, folding chairs, and a non-stop fight against censorship. Come cheer for the luchas as they bring storytelling to life!

The show will feature dealers selling a fantastic array of gems, minerals, fossils, carvings, jewelry, beads, jade, crystals, meteorites, lapidary and metaphysical items. Also expect unique hand crafted items created by local artisans. There will be kids’ activities and demonstrations of jewelry-making and lapidary crafts.

Join Gretchen Renshaw for a talk and workshop on soils and plant nutrition with special attention to the California native plants of the Franciscan Complex, and the plants of serpentine soils and other niches.

Gretchen Renshaw is a horticulturist and teacher. She co-founded the Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden. This demonstration garden features California native plants and sustainable gardening practices.

Welcoming all middle school and high school teens to this artist workshop. Join Instructor Christy Wilkins for this fun, hands-on block printing session. Create personalized T-shirts with your own block print creation. Bring your imagination, creative spirit, and a friend!

Join us at SLO Botanical Garden for a cake picnic featuring live music, drinks, and activities for all ages. Bring your favorite homemade or bakery-made cake and sample the delicious creations shared by fellow attendees. As you taste your way through the event, be sure to cast your vote for the day's Fan Favorite Cake and see which creation "takes the cake".
