Perhaps the greatest accomplishment of Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles, the first all female mariachi in the United States is that they have paved the way for other female mariachi groups to exist at the professional level. In a musical landscape of songs that are often written by men, and for men — Reyna has created their own history.Under the leadership of ten-time Grammy nominee, Maestro Jose Hernandez, Reyna was the first female Mariachi to break out of local level recognition to international stardom with original compositions, arrangements and interpretations of mariachi classics.

Get ready to tap your toes and hum along as the Atascadero Community Band proudly presents, “On With the Show!”, a sensational concert extravaganza celebrating the timeless melodies of Broadway.In true Broadway fashion, the band is rolling out the red carpet for our beloved community. Grab your top hat and tails, slip into that sequined gown, and get ready to be swept off your feet as we bring the glitz and glamor of Broadway right here to Atascadero. From classics like “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”, “Do Re Mi”, and “Oklahoma”, to show stopping anthems such as “America”, “Memory” and “My Shot”, the band guarantees an afternoon brimming with emotional nostalgia, dynamic drama, and a little bit of pure theatrical magic. Whether you are a seasoned Broadway aficionado or simply looking for a fun afternoon, come one, come all! Admission is free, and donations to support our mission are warmly welcomed. Pianist and music Professor Emeritus W. Terrence Spiller will give his final Beethoven sonata cycle recital in the Pavilion of the Performing Arts Center. The program will be bookended by two large sonatas: the massive Sonata No. 4 in E-flat Major, Op. 7, and the joyously majestic “Waldstein” sonata, No. 21 in C Major, Op. 53.
